Elle moved from Bangkok to the UK in 1990 and she has run Thai restaurants since 1994. Passionate about eating and cooking, she loves to get to know her customers and what they like to eat. Led by Elle, we love the challenge of tailoring a dish to each customer’s taste.
In 2000, Elle moved to Hertford and opened the town’s first Thai restaurant, Thai Rack, in Parliament Square. Later, in 2004, she opened further restaurants in both Barnet and Dunstable, and she opened Elle’s Thai Kitchen Takeaway back in Hertford.
More recently, she opened the Khunnai Thai restaurant in Stanstead Abbotts, and after many years of searching for suitable premises, she finally opened a Japanese restaurant, called Oishii, in Hertford. In November 2017, the takeaway at Elle’s Kitchen expanded into a full restaurant, located two doors away.
Now serving Chinese cuisine, The Golden Dragon is Elle’s latest restaurant, and we offer the same high culinary standard for our loyal customers, many of whom have been with us since we opened our very first restaurant. Our customers are very important to us, and we love to know their thoughts, feedback, and suggestions.
